Descrição:
O sensor de oxigênio também conhecido como sonda lambda localiza-se no escapamento tem a função de detectar o teor de oxigênio nos gases de escape, informando a unidade de comando quanto a sua presença em relação ao ar de amostragem dentro do sensor para cálculo estequiométrico (mistura pobre/rica) do motor. As sondas lambda veem-se submetidas a condições extremas. Por isso, é necessário contar com uma sonda lambda precisa para garantir um funcionamento fiável do motor.
